What we renew, how often, and where the facts and the advice come from.
This page explains what the numbers in our catalog mean and how often we renew them. The catalog was last updated on September 13, 2026.
What we update
Prices, the colors and sizes in stock, and the rating and rating count shown on each style. We update the whole catalog on a schedule. A color or size that sells out leaves the site on the next update, and one that comes back returns the same way.
If a price here differs from the one at checkout, the checkout has the final word: our figures come from our last update, and prices can move between updates.
Where the product facts come from
Uppers, soles, drop, insoles, closures, care and size runs come from our own product data for each style. Photographs and film show our own shoes. We leave out anything we cannot stand behind, such as temperature ratings for the boots.
Where the fit and foot advice comes from
Advice about measuring feet, fitting shoes, easing into flat shoes and dressing feet for the cold is attributed to the organization it comes from. We read each source before citing it, and we say only what it says.
