How the shoe is built
Pick the pair up before you try it on. ASITVO standards come down to the toe, the heel and the sole.
Look down at the toe of an ASITVO pair and it is round, not pointed. Your little toe sits beside the others instead of under them, and the knit or canvas above it gives where the joint of the big toe presses.
Our barefoot models have zero drop: the heel sits no higher than the ball of the foot. The loafers keep a soft foam sole with a little cushion, for days on hard office floors.
Pick up a barefoot pair and bend it: the rubber sole folds in half and twists. The insole lifts out, so you can wear the shoe thinner or add an insole of your own.

Five minutes with a pencil and a sheet of paper saves you a return.
Feet swell over the course of a day. Measure toward evening, standing, with the socks you plan to wear.
Stand on paper and mark the heel and the tip of your longest toe on each foot. If one foot is longer, buy for that one.
Standing in the shoe, you want about half an inch between your longest toe and the end of the shoe.
Our shoes are already wide, so there is no need to size up for width. If you sit between two sizes, take the larger one.
Walk across the room. If your heel lifts clear of the insole with every step, the pair is half a size too long.
A flat, flexible sole asks more of your feet than a cushioned one. Start with short spells of wear and add time gradually over the weeks.

Yes. Every style we make is cut wide at the front, with a round toe that lets your toes lie side by side. Order your usual length: the width is already in the shoe, so there is no need to size up for it.
Order the size you wear in sneakers. Measure late in the day, leave about half an inch in front of your longest toe, and if you fall between two sizes, take the larger one. Our size guide walks through it step by step.
