About barefoot shoes
A barefoot shoe does less than a regular sneaker on purpose. The heel sits level with the ball of the foot, the sole is thin and bends in your hand, and the front is wide enough for your toes to lie flat. Our three men’s styles and one women’s style all keep to those three rules.
If you are coming from cushioned shoes, start slow: short spells of wear at first, then longer walks as your feet get used to working with less under them. The insoles lift out, so you can also begin with an insole in and take it out later.
